Traditional die separation requires considerable physical effort and uncontrolled impact forces. Besides being an ergonomic and safety challenge, those forces can damage sensitive die surfaces, mandrels or internal components. The machine turns this critical die-shop operation into a controlled, repeatable and highly efficient process.

The die package is positioned on driven rollers inside the protected working area. During the cycle the package rotates while the hydraulically operated splitting head follows the separation area between die and backer, applying controlled force until both parts separate. Integrated monitoring reports splitting position, movement and hydraulic pressure, and stops the cycle automatically if the preset pressure limit is exceeded.

Reference configurations cover very different die ranges, from 150 to 350 mm diameter with 25 t splitting force, up to 200 to 650 mm die diameter.
